Eminent Urdu writer Khalid Akhtar Mohammad born in Allahabad district Liaquatpur Bahawalpur to 23 January 1920. In his books leads to death due to the fact that the novel Chakiwara Faiz declared Urdu important novel. Akhtar Mohammad Khalid 2011 other books, including Lost Horizon, schools and mentor, uncle, Abdul Baqi, the lanterns and the second story and journey. In 2001 he was awarded the International Award for Urdu in Doha, Qatar.

کے نامور ادیب محمد خالد اختر 23 جنوری 1920ء کو الہ آباد تحصیل لیاقت پور ضلع
بہاولپور میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ان کی تصانیف میں ان کا ناول چاکیواڑہ میں وصال سرفہرست
ہے جسے اس کے اسلوب کے باعث فیض احمد فیض نے اردو کا اہم ترین ناول قرار دیا تھا۔
محمد خالد اختر کی دیگر تصانیف میں 2011ء، کھویا ہوا افق، مکاتب خضر، چچا
عبدالباقی، لالٹین اور دوسری کہانی اور یاترا کے نام شامل ہیں۔ 2001ء میں انہیں
دوحہ قطر میں عالمی اردو ایوارڈ سے نوازا گیا تھا۔
٭2 فروری 2002ء کو اردو کے نامور ادیب محمد خالد اختر کراچی میں وفات پاگئے۔
